The Obsidian Warrior is an imposing man from initial impression. Built like a bull, the man poses physique that would suggest that he focuses on strength over all. Well proportioned, he maintains some form of flexibility that his techniques and movements require him to do.Standing at 7'0 tall, he's a taller specimen of his kind. His posture always straight, along with a confident gait that he always maintain at all times. Scars adorn the body like etchings on a wall, each telling of a fight worthy of being remembered.
He can usually be seen adorned with lavish jewelry and gold, it is one thing to be physically imposing but another thing to be financially powerful as well. Regardless, he always base his wardrobe to display both of these as a way to exude his presence and assert his place wherever he goes. He knows exactly who he is and it shows on how he carries himself.
He was once a strong warlord, but he has since been beaten by a man of enormous strength and potential, and he has had his territories stripped and his assets frozen or taken outright. The man was humiliated and broken; he is no more the beast he once was; his fangs have blunted, and his pride is in tatters. Now on a journey of self-discovery, he seeks to understand the meaning of authority and power.

Despite his best efforts to appear indestructible and everlasting, he is neither, yet he seeks to be the embodiment of strength who commands respect and dread from everyone around him. However, he has weaknesses and qualities that make him human.His manner of thinking, his style of life, all reflect the early days when the strong ruled over the weak. With this mindset of strength in mind, he sees things differently; where others see a crime, he sees an opportunity or weakness.He was hardened by life on the harsh sands of Gyr Abania, where he lived in a coastal community and was outcast for having a witch mother, therefore making him a witch himself. Villagers believed he would bring misfortune one day, destroying their town and its prosperity; it goes without saying that when you give a child nothing but hatred, he would return it in kind.His motivation and fixation derive from his time as a malnourished boy in his town, where vultures circled him waiting for his demise. This is something he is unlikely to disclose and desperately attempts to conceal: an image of himself as the weakest of all.

Every kill must be remembered with trophies, you ended their life but you can still carry on their journey. Take a lock of hair, take their heads and shrink them if you must, but bring them with you to the gates of the gods, don't make your journey alone
Dark magics is a path of power, but powers that are not your own. Their strength should be respected, but not their path, for the powers they posses are temporary and volatile
Douse yourself with blessed waters before battle, always try to be clean at all times, if you are going to die, you must meet your makers in a presentable manner, make a good impression.

Hooks
The obsidian man is an ambitious one, not one to slow down to a simpler life, he crave excitement and dangers, he wants to destroy his weaknesses and obstacles and thrive, to revere his patron deity Rhalgr among other things. He intends to leave a mark in the annals of history, unwilling to fade away. Therefore he is in constant search for those that are willing to work with him, against him or for him.Recently after a campaign within Gyr Abania, he has faced catastrophic defeats that halted his ambition. Now defeated he seek to regain the strength to be the man he once was, heal his long injuries and mend the broken spirit. A journey he finds quite vexing, but necessary.
Shaka has a lot of history with the Garleans, after all he worked enough with them for a citizenship, he might be seen as a traitor for his people by other Ala Mhigans.
He has a soft spot for survivors, and those with the determination to live against all odds. He also have a soft spot with those who have quite the potential, he intends to cultivate said potential to the fullest. (For his own reasons of course)
His past as a Warlord brought upon him a multitude of hexes and curses casted upon him. He lives in constant suffering, and he constantly seek out aid from healers and other spiritual figures to cleanse him periodically.
Might be a little naive to those he deem to be soothsayers and oracles, he's a man trying to find clues in everything he sees or hears, and make a move based upon what the heavens want him to.
Other older monks might know him, he was a student from a sect of shadow who joined the corpse brigade and the mad king's eradication of the monk order, he mastered anti monk techniques along with the brigade and took many chakras along the process
The obsidian Man is not a man made of gold, he is cold and calculating for the most part, and would find uses for any sort of people. He's known to hunt for both people and beast alike, selling them into slavery or enslave them himself. Perhaps you encountered this man in a wrong turn? Perhaps you have a talent, skill or looks that would warrant his attention?
Shaka detests weaklings, he's a natural bully and could be antagonistic to those he deem as far too weak to reedem themselves or defend themselves properly (elders are exempt)
Despite everything else that he did, he makes for a damn good mentor if anyone wishes to learn martial arts, monk arts or weapon techniques. He's looking for successors and students because he knows he can't keep his 'prime' forever.
In order to make his name known, he was a gladiator for some time, he's known for doing everything simply by his fists. He managed to rake in the champion title once and disappear for the most part from the gladiatorial scene.

Darker Themes I am aware that Shaka can be seen as a more gritty sort, but that is simply the RP that I enjoy doing. I love writing darker themes, and I have no limits when it comes to RP as I can separate fiction from reality very well, I am here to write a good story after all..
